Lone Worker Protection

Employers have a duty of care when it comes to the well being of it’s Lone Workers, whether day or night, and recent legislation requires a reliable and efficient service to ensure the safety and security of it’s vulnerable staff.

At Shadow Surveillance & Security Services Limited we operate a 24 hour manned Emergency Contact Centre, providing a cost effective hourly Check Call Facility for your lone workers. Together with our Alarm Response Team, a full escalation and resolution service can be put into motion for missed Check Calls.

In the event of a non-response on the Check Call system a predefined set of escalation tasks will be followed by a qualified member of the Operations Team. We will dispatch a Mobile Security Patrol immediately to check on the well being of the employee concerned and, should it be required, will include escalation to the Police and / or notification of the incident through to appropriate members of staff in your organisation, in accordance with your specifications.

In the event of on-going issues upon attendance, the Mobile Security Patrol will remain on site and await arrival of the police and / or a nominated member of staff, ensuring the lone worker is supported, and your site is secure at all times.

Further to this, should an incident occur that requires a Response Call-Out, the lone worker can call our Operations Team, 24 hours a day, so that we can immediately dispatch a member of our Response Team.

All our clients are supplied with full reports of any incident and / or any action taken.
